Thomas Watson's 10th March auction will feature four bronze sculptures by American artist Ramon Parmenter, who was born in Eugene, Oregon in 1954.
His favourite subject matters are Olympic athletes and nudes. In 1984, Parmenter was commissioned as the official sculptor for the Olympic Scientific Congress held in conjunction with the Los Angeles Olympic Games. His sculptures have also created an impressive list of collectors including Bart Conners, Alberto Salazar, Bo Jackson, Nancy Lopez and Tracy Caulkins. Works by Parmenter are included in various museums and international corporate collections.
Each piece is estimates between £200 and £400.
